Green Smoothie Love!
This week on the podcast I spoke about how I make my green smoothie . . . and why it is my BFF.
It wasn’t always that way–I thought green drinks were for those single women who hung out at the gym and complained about how hard it is to find a man. I’ll be honest–there is more to this “single, skinny girl” story–maybe later, maybe in another podcast. Bottom line is a green drink is for everyone–skinny and young and older and wiser!
Now I see the error of my ways (worrying about being skinny vs. being healthy!). My green smoothie gives me:
- healthy looking skin
- a conversation starter (especially those early morning soccer games!)
- my go-to to-go breakfast that is amazing!
- tasty way to get my greens
How-To Make it!
- 2 handfuls of greens
- 1/2 or 1 banana
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup of OJ
- Blend in the Ninja Professional Blender (BL660)
- Add ice
