Valentine Coupons for kids!

I love Life As Mom.com.  Jessica has some great coupons that can be customized–I’m loving that idea because my kids all have a different love language.  I wrote about Love Languages a while back and my kids float between all of them–just when I think I have it ALL figured out–THEY CHANGE!!!

Check out the printable coupons here and read about the five love languages affirmation, touch, service, gifts, and quality time.  If you combine your child’s love language with the “value” of the coupon–it is going to be awesome.

But if you get stuck here are some ideas:

  1. one night of pizza
  2. one trip to the store for ice cream
  3. 1 hour of TV or staying up late
  4. an extra glass of juice
  5. 1 hour of mommy time
  6. 1 hour of daddy time
  7. 1 pass on putting your clothes away (or another chore)
  8. 5 extra kisses at night or read an extra book
  9. 1 stuffed animal of your choice (I have one kid who loves stuffed animals)
  10. I’ll make your favorite meal

Kids love to be pampered in the way that matters most to them . . . just like we (adults) need to be pampered in the way that means the most to us!

Be blessed as you pour out the love your child needs!

I bought 3 little tins the other day, on a whim. Coupons (plus some chocolate, of course) would be sweet gifts for my 3. I see one getting a huge grin on his face when he reads that he can have a night free of dish duty!

I’ve giving away one free day of chores but I’m also giving away “daddy chocolate” to those who do an extra chore . . . in a perfect world, it will all balance out!

      Be Blessed.

I love this! And yes, Life as Mom is one of my favorite sites. I feel like I’ve been reading her posts forever!

I keep thinking about doing something like this. We try to make their birthdays special though we don’t do a lot in between. Its the in between that counts too!

I’m so glad you shared this idea at Motivation Monday. I’ll be pinning and sharing.
