Here (Five Minute Friday)

Unscripted. Unedited. Real. Writing for 5 minutes prompted my a single word from Lisa-Jo.  I encourage you to read what “one word” can mean to so many different writers.

Five Minute Friday

Go:

This is my year of intention.

IMG_1950My year to really live this life of mine.  I strive to be in the Now.  I strive to be in the moment here.  I strive to simply be and make a difference in my own way, somehow change the world.

To find my own purpose.  Why am I here?

I look back on almost 50 years of memories–I wade through heartache, love, triumphs, losses, and I wonder–what is it all for?

[tweetherder]My entire life leads me to this moment, here.  What do I do now?[/tweetherder]

Be Blesses as you live your best now–cooking dinner, folding laundry, making lunches, sipping coffee oozing into your day, talking with your kids . . . be blessed here in this moment.

It always amazes me what a person can put together in 5 minutes. Just beautiful. I am glad I was here :) I was your neighbor at Five Minute Friday.

You’re right. We often spend so much time rushing to the next thing or trying to find that one big thing we’re supposed to do that we miss truly living. We miss our ministry, our opportunities to bless others in the daily duties of our lives…our ministry so often is in the daily duties of our lives.

      Christa,

For the record–some days are better than others! My kids remind me that “Mom, they probably won’t make you a saint–just sayin'” and I laugh.

      Be Blessed.

      Mel,

My joy today is that my 9 year old can now make cookies! My moments just became better! I’m not eating them but to know that when I do lose all my weight–to have a cookie baker! Life is good!

      Be Blessed.

I’m in a messy, weary season, and I’m wrestling to be content. Thanks for the reminder to be present. So thankful we serve a God who weaves all the pieces together.

Erika–I wish you the best. I’ve discovered that the seeds we plant today will pay off later. The steps I take today may help me today but may help me in a year . . . as long as I move forward and serve, it will work out.

      Be Blessed.
